BENEFITS PACKAGE : Notts Gymanstics Association 1.provision of County competitions, including hall hire, coordination with hosting club, organisation of judges including expenses, providing medals, trophies and certificates, programs, publication of results. Presently 2 competitions a year - floor and vault in Feb/Mar, which also forms selection competition for Notts team for regional F&V competition, and county champs in June/July. NGA receives entry fees and door money from the competition to cover costs of hall hire, judges, medals etc and incidental expenses, hosting club keeps all fundraising money eg from raffles, refreshments etc. Intention to add further competitions into the calendar eg tumbling competition and a broader level competition similar to county champs for eg girls level 5 WITH 4 piece and boys maybe 4 out of 6 pieces. 2. organisation of county team for F&V competition including provision of kit 3. funding support for coaches, judges and volunteers eg for coaching courses, judging courses, first aid, child protection courses - amount possible depends on income from club affiliations andcompetition revenue. If funds permit then NGA supports up to 1/3 of cost of course if over a certain minimum (£50 at present) 4. administering of county grants for gymnasts - previously fully administered by NGA now coordinating and approving applications to the county council 5. provision of workshops eg for specific coaching matters, choreography, routine design - provision depends on demand 6. organising and funding child protection coursesand similar - provision depends again on demand 7. liaison between clubs and region
